I did not accept the dials. They are being redone right now :-/

Well, as you may have heard, I just got an image of the dials being made… right before they were applying the hour markers… and I saw that something happened to the minute markers.  It looks like they turned them into squares(?)

So I waited until I saw the final and then decided that even though I kinda liked it, it wasn’t what we planned, and so I did not accept them.  They are redoing them now, but I haven’t heard when to expect them.  I will hear something soon and relay, but as of right now, I still plan on shipping watches this month.

Early Bird Specials are NOT being claimed… why?

Tonight I wrote about 20 people individually, by sending them emails from my personal email account, and asked them why they didn’t follow through.  It’s hard to say if my mail is just going to spam, or what, but I offered them refunds on their downpayment if they changed their minds.  I have no problem Pay-Pal-ing people $5, so hopefully they will take me up on it, if they changed their minds.  I’m just concerned.

Here is my problem: I thought I could offer 20% off EVERYTHING, as my ‘Early Bird’ but their software only allows me to designate ONE perk as my ‘Early Bird Special’ …and I need like 8.  So I started making ‘secret links’ but this system isnt built for crowdfunding a half dozen items, so here is my work around:

Just write me back and tell me what you want and I’ll send you a discounted PayPal invoice, and then I’ll just fulfill like as if you ordered through indiegogo.  Since it’s through PayPal you will still have the same protection and I’ll know how many watches I really need to build.

I’ll scrub the names at the end and issue $5 refunds to anyone that didn’t follow through, and if you DID prepay but ended up paying full price, I’ll give you 20% back… so don’t worry.

Hey guys, I know this was a little rough, but I promise I’ll make sure everything works as billed, even if I have to use duct tape and bailing wire to get it to go:)
