Bubble mailers are addressed and ready for the dials. I’m still hoping to get them out by the end of the month…

I got the first images of 4 of the 5 watches today, and they look pretty good, but I also know from my other watches they always look better in person. I’m not sure why, but I had the same issue when he sent me the images of the first watch- his camera makes everything look burry and the plastic makes it look like grandmas couches… but overall, it’s what I had in mind when I designed them, so I’m pleased with the execution.
The dials are still not showing up on my tracking yet, which means they haven’t landed in America yet. When they do, I will try to turn them around the same day. I addressed all the envelopes today so all I have to do now is stuff them and drop them off.
The factory wanted me to approve the samples, while I wait for Indiegogo to release your funds to them, so I can pay them to build the rest. So 4 of you will get watches before the rest, but I’m going to unwrap them so I can inspect and photograph them… so give me a day to do that, then I’ll mail those out
Basically, the watches are running a little late. That’s my fault for thinking things would go fast once the dials were finished, but the factory is busier than ever, and our stuff is simply waiting for other larger jobs to get done. They sound a little pressed, and they gave me a new way to submit orders, so I think things will be smoother moving forward. I should have given them a wider buffer.
All said, I think everything is moving forward just fine and should theoretically come due all at once, as planned. Indiegogo said everything was in order and they would be release funds to me possibly as soon as this Friday, but they also give themselves a wide range.
